ocean lover. beach walker. collector. curator
Hello, I’m Amber.
I live with my happy little beach loving tribe in our tree-top surf shack by the sea on the Mornington Peninsula in Victoria.
We normally start the day with a beach walk, surf, swim or paddle and the sea has forever been my happy place. I make it a priority to spend time exploring its depths and coastlines regularly, always with a tote bag in tow to gather and collect driftwood, shells, cuttlefish and other sea treasures.
Forever foraging and bringing these treasures home, I decided to start creating and making art pieces to adorn our shack, and during lockdown DRIFTERS was born.
My favourite objects to collect are the native flat oyster shells found on the Port Phillip Bay shoreline and salty sun-drenched driftwood, tumbled and reshaped by nature.
All Drifters elements are ethically foraged in small numbers using responsible collecting practises on beaches which permit collecting and objects are always thoroughly checked to ensure no living creatures are present.
While we have a range of designs available for purchase, l love collaborating to create the perfect piece for you. Whether it’s scale, material or colour you would like to explore, we can work together to create the perfect custom design for your space.
As individual as you, my pieces tell their own story. Let me help you transform your interior space with relaxed coastal wall art.

hand gathered. carefully curated. uniquely natural
Each and every unique Drifter piece boasts raw, simplistic beauty, tumbled and reshaped by nature before being foraged and re-imagined as wall art.
Each wall hang is hand-crafted and individually designed, using only natural and quality materials.
Thank you for following my journey, you can join me in foraging
